This course meets the criteria of National Irish Standards.

Course Aims & Objectives:

On of this course candidates will be equipped with skills to

Recognise the signs and symptoms of a Cardiac Arrest, Foreign Body Airway Obstruction, Stoke and Heart Attack.
Competent in the operation of an AED, Adult, Child and Infant CPR as well as well as the First Aid treatment of Stroke and Heart Attack Patients.
This course includes the administration of Aspirin
CISM Critical Incident Stress Management
ACR’s & PCRs

Training Methods & Duration:

Both theoretical and practical learning is included in this course to ensure student. participation and feedback as part of developing strong knowledge of practical skills.
Educational DVDs will be used to facilitate course learning.
The course will last approximately 4 hours.

Who Should Attend:

Anyone who wants to learn how to how to operate an AED and how to provide effective CPR.

Assessment & Certification

Skills demonstration will form part of the course.

People who successfully pass the course will receive a Cardiac First Response Certificate with a validity of 2 years.

On successful completion of your chosen course your certificate will be provide by EMTS Training Solutions who are an approved training institute under the Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Council.
